Paces crafts: A sustainable knitting- crochetting and weaving workshop
With Paces Crafts we aim to provide sustainable employment for local weaving villages and poor women living in the rural surroundings of Ranchi.
With Paces crafts we aim to provide sustainable employment for local weaving villages and poor women living in the city of Ranchi. We believe that by offering an honest income to the young women they will less probably emigrate to the big cities in search of a better destiny where they can end up in situations of abuse or extreme poverty. As a social company, Paces Crafts aims to double it’s impact by investing all profits made in social projects that protect vulnerable children in need. Like this our artisans are not only empowering themselves and their families. They share their wins and invest in a better future for their own society.
After 6 months of research we decided Jaan Foundation will offer crochet & hand knitting, weaving, blockprinting and embroidery skills.
