This is what you need

Sewing needle roma

English rib with  2 ends :

1st row: alternating 1 straight stitch and 1 reverse stitch knit.

2nd row : knit the stitches as they appear (straight above straight, reverse above reverse), for the straight stitches, insert the needle into the stitch below the one of the previous row.

Repeat these 2 rows over and over again.

Stitch ratio

10 x 10 cm =  14  stitches x  28  rows

This is how you make it

Set up 68 stitches and knit 2 rows in 1/1 rib, then continue  with English rib.

Knit 8 cm in color 1 , 2cm in color 2 , 2 cm in color 1, 4cm in color 2, 5 cm in color 3.

Put a thread in every stitches and pull to close the top of the beanie.

Sew the two vertical borders stitch by stitch.

Make a pompom of 8cm diameter with all colors and attach it on the top of the beanie.

Weave all ends.

Knit 8 cm in color 1 , 2cm in color 2 , 2 cm in color 1, 4cm in color 2, 2cm in color 3, 2cm in color 1 and 15 cm in color3.

Cast off the stitches and close the legwarmer with a vertical seam stitch by stitch.

Knit the second legwarmer the same way.

Weave all ends.

This is how you make it

Set up 17 stitches and knit with 2 ends English rib.

Knit 3 cm in color 1 , 2cm in color 2 , 2 cm in color 3, 4cm in color 2, 4cm in color 3 and 4cm in color 1.

Continue straight for 7cm in color 3.

Then knit 4cm in color 1 and 4cm in color 3.

Finish the headband with 4 cm in color 2, 2 cm in color 3, 2 cm in color 2 and 3cm in color 1.

Close the headband by gathering the beginning and the end and pulling a thread together it in the middle.
